Imagine your wedding on a wine farm, in a stunning Cape mountain valley location, just over one hour’s drive from Cape Town. Your wedding ceremony in a beautiful consecrated chapel (that looks like it belongs in a movie) and your wedding reception in a wonderful multi-beamed ceiling hall spilling out onto wide-open lawns. Then there’s your wedding night in either our thatched cottage, complete with large four-poster bed and picture postcard views of the mountains over the water or in our beautiful bridal room. You can do it all at Manley Wine Lodge. And for a lot less than you may imagine.
Going to the chapel
Our own non-denominational wedding chapel is used regularly for both church services and weddings. It seats up to 80 people and is the perfect setting for the perfect ceremony.
Should you be more than 80 people, we can move outside and arrange a wedding ceremony for a larger number of guests on the lawns with a backdrop of the stunning Winterhoek mountainsThe Reception Hall
With its fascinating multi-beamed ceiling and expansive patio extending onto our wide green lawns our beautifully designed wedding reception hall provides a great venue for the most adventurous wedding celebration.
The venue will accommodate approximately 100 people for a sit-down meal and a dance floor inside. The cellar room – a great celebration space
Beneath the Reception Hall lie our large cellar-style room, a brick arched space that makes a great place to celebrate.
Alternatively, this cellar-style venue provides a superb room for a more intimate wedding reception, seating up to 40 people in comfort.
Accessed from above by a large staircase and opening onto the lawns through large barn doors this is a versatile room for those who want to add their own unique style. The Bridal Suite
You have the choice of using our spacious bridal room with a fireplace and luxurious full bathroom or one of our luxury thatched cottages
They are nestled beside the water at the end of the property. Thatched and furnished in classic cottage style it is quiet and very romantic.
The four-poster bed was specially made for us by local craftsmen, while the furnishings – including the large claw-foot Victorian bath – have been selected to give the whole place an indulgent and deeply relaxing atmosphere.Planning your wedding
